“’Well,’ said Pooh, ‘what I like best — ‘ and then he had to stop and think. Because although eating honey was a very good thing to do, there was a moment just before you began to eat it which was better than when you were, but he didn’t know what it was called.”
(Winnie the Pooh)
If you ever need a good “pick-me-up” or virtual hug, take a gander through a list of Winnie the Pooh quotes. It always makes my day!
I’m procrastinating by blogging today. Once I start my day, I know there’s no turning back. Here’s my agenda…
- Go to the gym. Despite my itty bitty cold, and my growing list of things I need to accomplish today, I know I need to work out. I think it’ll help me get over my cold more quickly, an I know I need to go, but I’m just not feeling it.
- Pick up the apartment. Enough said.
- Go see Cam’s grave. This is the first year that I didn’t go in the fall, and I know it’ll make me feel better. Is it weird that there’s something relaxing about a cemetery? He’s been on my mind a lot lately, and I think visiting his grave will settle my thoughts.
- Head to the mall for a quick return (which will no doubt turn to a longer trip, but what can ya do).
- Maybe some laundry.
I’ve been “stumbling” (via StumbleUpon) like there’s no tomorrow. I figure it’s time to share the cute things I’ve found! Enjoy…
Movie Review
Crazy, Stupid, Love (2011)
(Okay, so I’m like 6 months behind on this film. In all fairness, I saw it when it first came out but didn’t have time to review it!)
“The war between the sexes is over. We won the second women started pole dancing for exercise” (Jacob).
We’ve all seen our fair share of romantic comedies. And they never change. The couple always gets together, stumbles along the road, and works it out in the end. Predictable, a bit dragged out, generally involving a few tears. Crazy, Stupid, Love is different, mainly because of its lack of predictability. This element of surprise is what makes the film a ten. Steve Carrell adds comedic drama (his specialty), Emma Stone is dynamic and beautiful, and Ryan Gosling exudes sex and confidence throughout the entire film. This movie was by far the best movie I saw in 2011!
Rating: 10/10!
Okay bloggies, I give up. Time to go to the gym. Have a fabulous weekend!
